i-FIVE - INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL VIDEO ART FESTIVAL

In the last 10 years, it has been the practice of the Brotero School to present video works inside and outside the school space, resulting from several partnerships with various entities in the city of Coimbra, namely, the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha (2015- 2016), House of Culture (2017), Casa da Esquina (2021), Penedo da Saudade Cultural Center (2022).
The dynamic created by the school project, now proposes to produce a video art festival, in partnership with EAMP and the Videolab Association, which intends to dignify the activities promoted by the school across borders. In this sense, it is intended to include an international section in the aforementioned festival, in which some video art festivals will be able to present some works aimed at school audiences, either by artists or by students from schools in other countries.
